Jessica Tyler Lab: Epigenetics

The Tyler laboratory focuses on understanding how epigenetic information controls aging and genomic stability, using tissue culture, budding yeast and biochemical approaches. Our studies are purely hypothesis driven and reveal novel mechanisms of these fundamental and highly conserved processes. We seek graduate students and postdocs with a strong work ethic and interest in epigenetics, aging and/or DNA repair to consider research in our dynamic, friendly and interactive research group.

Cancer Genomics and Evolutionary Dynamics

The Landau lab develops computational & experimental tools to study cancer evolution. Using both patient-derived samples and experimental models, our research is geared towards uncovering basic principles in evolutionary biology and applying this knowledge to design the next generation of precision medicine tools. We seek exceptional students with interest in training in quantitative biology and a passion to help design the future cancer cures.

Dan Landau Lab: Cancer Genomics and Evolutionary Dynamics

The Landau lab develops computational & experimental tools to study cancer evolution. Using both patient-derived samples and experimental models, our research is geared towards uncovering basic principles in evolutionary biology and applying this knowledge to design the next generation of precision medicine tools. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in a quantitative field (i.e. statistics, physics, mathematics or computer science) and a demonstrated interest in biological questions, or a Ph.D. in a biological field with demonstrated interest in programming and analytical skills.

Howard Fine Lab: Glioma Stem Cell Signaling and Cerebral Organoids

Led by neuro-oncologist Howard Fine, M.D., the Fine Lab is seeking postdocs for a project focused on better elucidating how the canonical stem cell signaling pathways operative in our glioma stem cells effect the unique metabolic phenotype of these cells using both glioma stem cell and cerebral organoid models. Lukas Dow Lab: Novel Models to Explore Colorectal Cancer

The Dow Lab is seeking highly motivated and independent postdocs to join its research team. The lab uses cross-species analysis and innovative mouse models to explore the events governing progression and therapeutic response of colorectal cancer. Previous experience with animal models, particularly mice, is advantageous but not essential.

The Elemento Lab

The Elemento Lab is dedicated to using systems biology approaches to solve cancer and make genomic medicine become reality. It encourages graduate students already accepted in the PBSB and Tri-Institutional Chemical Biology Program programs to consider rotation and thesis projects in the lab.
