The lab of Yariv Houvras, M.D., Ph.D., is seeking highly motivated Ph.D or M.D. candidates to examine the genetic and epigenetic basis of cancer. The Houvras Lab studies the contribution that chromatin-modifying enzymes have in tumor initiation and progression. A pioneer in the use of zebrafish to study cancer, the lab has active projects in genome editing, personalized cancer models & drug discovery.
