Cancer drug prices higher in U.S., yet relatively affordable

Even though U.S. drug prices are higher than in other countries, that does not necessarily mean medicines are less affordable here. A study of cancer drug prices in six countries around the world, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting, challenged the view that cost is a bigger barrier to access in the U.S. than elsewhere.
