MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Our members collaborate across the Weill Cornell Medicine sphere in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens to convert conceptual breakthroughs into novel therapies that will benefit all cancer patients.
Research members work in multidisciplinary teams to make discoveries across the cancer research continuum that will improve cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship. A candidate for research membership should be aligned with one of MCC’s four research programs – Cancer Biology, Cancer Therapeutics, Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics, and Cancer Prevention and Control.
Clinical members advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer by providing precision oncology care to our cancer patients at hospitals and clinics across the WCM-NewYork Presbyterian Hospital sphere. A candidate for clinical membership should hold a WCM-NYP appointment in an oncology-focused discipline.
Associate members are cancer researchers at Cornell campuses outside the WCM sphere at sites such as Cornell Tech and Cornell University Ithaca.
