Cancer Prevention & Control

The Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program is focused on the population health aspects of cancer research. The aims of the program are to:

  1. Determine risk factors (e.g., genetic, behavioral) for cancer and identify novel risk biomarkers
  2. Evaluate interventions to intercept cancer, and improve screening and early detection
  3. Identify factors to improve cancer survivorship
