Ekta Khurana Receives Irma T. Hirschl/Monique Weill-Caulier Scholar Award

Ekta Khurana, Ph.D., recently received the Irma T. Hirschl/Monique Weill-Caulier Scholar Award for her project, Using Chromatin Conformation Changes at Single-cell Level to Identify Drivers of Treatment Resistance in Prostate Cancer. Drug-resistant aggressive prostate cancer is a major clinical challenge and her lab uses the latest developments in single-cell technology and will work to develop computer algorithms to probe the architecture of DNA in cells and identify the key proteins that regulate cellular states in treatment-resistant prostate cancer.
