Thoracic Cancers

Our surgeons are at the forefront of developing minimally invasive techniques for cancers of the lung, esophagus and gastro-esophageal junction, including laparoscopy, thoroscopy and video-assisted lobectomy, as well as immunotherapy and other targeted regimens.

They work closely with researchers at the Neuberger Berman Foundation Lung Cancer Center to foster innovative research into the prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer, and to bring the most recent discoveries directly from bench to bedside.

With over 20 years of prospectively collected data and robust biobank, the the Clinical Trials and Healthcare Outcomes Center is in a unique position to assess the efficacy of various thoracic cancer therapies, inform research studies, and ultimately influence clinical care.
